Burt Munro Challenge

Each year Invercargill celebrate Burt Munro with the Burt Munro Challenge.   Invercargill is filled with bikers from all around and the city hums.

Invercargill Water Tower

The Water Tower is just over the road from the Tower Lodge Motel and is open to visit every Sunday where you can climb to the top of the tower, which measures 90ft (27.43m) above ground level.  The foundation stones were laid in 1888, and you can even view the original records of water supplied to houses.
